BBSakura Networks, Inc. (“Company”) and BBIX,Inc. (“BBIX”), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet exchange (IX) business, have jointly developed the Open Connectivity eXchange (“OCX”), and have opened new OCX connection points in NEC’s Inzai Data Center and Kanagawa Data Center.

The OCX provides on-demand connectivity to cloud services and data centers from a dedicated customer portal, and the addition of NEC’s Inzai Data Center and Kanagawa Data Center to the OCX connectivity network will enable customers to connect to the OCX at NEC’s data centers. This will make it easier for customers to use a secure, high-quality, closed connection environment.
