BBSakura Networks, Inc. (“BBSakura”) and BBIX Inc. (“BBIX”), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, will add a new Open Connectivity eXchange (“OCX”)  connection point within the MARUNOUCHI DIRECT ACCESS Ltd. (“MDA”) Otemachi Data Center (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on November 1, 2022.

OCX provides on-demand, highly secure, low latency, and scalable connectivity to a variety of cloud services and data centers used by customers through a dedicated customer portal. By connecting to OCX and utilizing MDA’s optical fiber network in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho areas, many customers with their offices in these areas will be able to access secure, high-quality, and closed network connections with greater ease.
